Treefall @ Houghton Lake

Jim did a great job getting up there on Sunday (poor guy missed the Lion's historic 16th loss of the year) with an electrician friend and did the repairs on Monday. They did a lot of running around getting parts, permits and visiting Consumers Energy, which was great to work with. The eastside neighbor was kind enough to let us run an extension cord over from his place to run the furnace, fridge and TV (of course). Jim has a friend in Gladwin who drove up with his 10 year old son to cut up the tree and clean up most of it.  They split some of it into fire wood, rolled three logs down to the lake and left some brush in a pile in the westside neighbor's yard.
