80 degrees, that is, not the 1980s. People keep saying this is way too warm for October and they are not wrong. October can be a mixed bag in the Great Lake State. I am not a climate change denier at all but this heat is not all that unusual for this time of year. On the other hand, we can also have snow in October

We discussed the possibility of eating outside tonight but about the time dinner was ready, the MOE-skee-TOES were coming out and even though they weren’t all that bad, we headed inside to eat. MOE-skee-TOES? Yeah, they come out at dusk at this time of year. They don’t exactly target me all that much but even one bite is enough.

Obviously I don’t have a lot to say tonight. There’s our shed with the lights on and some impatiens that got potted around Mother’s Day and are hanging on pretty much forever.
