Terribly beautiful
This photo is apped via Instagram filters but it’s actually pretty close to reality. The Iceman Cometh or at least he made an attempt. There was some snow on the point road when I walked it this morning but nothing slippery. Our fave waitress over at Little Boots diner reported slick spots when she drove in to work, which was probably much earlier than when I walked. Little Boots was interesting today for other reasons that I will not detail on the internet. Fun stuff though.
Old Man Winter seemed to be gearing up for the duration this weekend. Almost all of the time we were in the north country, something was coming down outta the sky. The form factor varied and the ground is not frozen yet so the snow didn’t totally take everything over but here we go into whatever polar vortex gets thrown our way. We’ll see.
At any rate, our trip back down south to the Planet Ann Arbor today was pretty smooth.
Love y’all,
KW

This morning I saw floaty big flakes, then nothing, then teensy snow balls, then nothing, and a sunny, if cool-breezy afternoon. Change is coming very soon, though, we hear.

I keep forgetting that it’s November. We had a 61 degree day a few days back. It’s been mild here, so it doesn’t seem like winter is coming. Would rather it didn’t.
