Hippies use side door… … …

signs

I could have taken beautiful pics of bounties of produce at the farmer’s market this morning. The sweet corn is done, the lima beans are done, the heirloom tomato folks weren’t there today. Still, I bought my fave red leaf lettuce, tomatoes, potatoes, a teensy red cabbage, green onions, brussel sprouts, broccoli, and I fergit what else. Oh, a gorgeous eggplant. We got into the Ninja with our booty at about 7:45 AM. The photo I got was of Sojrner’s van and the signs surrounding it. Sojrner caught us taking a photo of her van but she was cheerful. I posted the pic on facebook and one of my fave high school facebook buddies reminded me about the song by the Five Man Electrical Band and that became the day’s earworm. I am sorry to say that I don’t remember the Five Man Electrical Band off hand but I do remember the song. Who doesn’t?

I did my regular chores today except that I did not clean the shower curtains. I am done with that. We took some paint and other toxic stuff out to the toxic waste place this morning. Those folks rock! And then later on, we walked downtown, eventually hanging out at the Grizzly, after the football crowd kind of thinned out. We will not talk about buckets today.

Buckets?? When does your bathroom remodel start? Love the van, especially the peace sign. It definitely belongs in Portland. 🙂
