Narrowing it Down?

Thanks for all the good suggestions. Before I read Pooh’s comment mentioning “Ursa Major” this morning, I was on my way back from the Jackson Rd. Meijer and “Ursa Major” popped into my head. I’m now thinking of either that or “Aurora Borealis.” Not very offbeat but fits into the other guidelines. Whaddy’all think? I’m still open to new suggestions. And now, after a long writing/editing session with UED4, a trip to the fabric store with Mouse, and coffee at Sweetwaters with Mouse, Bubs, and Jane, I am off to the IT Zone with Sandy and probably some other classmates for a search engine optimization presentation. So, not much to say today.

I like “aurora borealis” – colors! electro-magnetic atmospheric phenomena!!

and “auroraborealiswebsolutions” is an available domain name!!! (as I would think variations on *that* theme would be)

    (ursamajor.*, ursa-major.*, auroraborealis.*, aurora-borealis.* are not, however…)

From a business perspective Ursa Major is a better name. spelling Aurora Borealis woudl be a challenge to many. even a simple typo (guilty) and they wouldn’t find you at first. Also, the word ‘major’ projects a strong image, but everybody smiles about the Big Dipper, so it’s not overpowering in any way.

I’m picturing a couple pine trees with the big dipper floating above. someone find me a napkin! quick!

Design ideas are also welcome. Although I am not totally unartistic, graphic design is not my strong point. Sometimes I do things that I think are cool (not my current blahg design though) but I’m not consistent. Lack of experience, partly.
