For Radical Betty and the other beach folk who have gone before.

Bed is too small for my tiredness;
Give me a hillside with trees.
Tuck a cloud up under my chin.
Lord, blow the moon out, please!

    Just came back from a beach walk with the dawgs, Incredible beauty. And UberKayakwoman’s lullabye kept rising up from the sea. Sometimes I cannot get it out of my head. Moderate wind, beautiful sunset, 3 ships, loon feathers. . .. We have had no rain or major winds in three weeks, so all of your footprints, kayak drags, etc. remain from Radical Betty’s weekend. They offer company to solo walks!

    Mouse and I have both had this song stuck in our heads all day!

    Alright!! I kept thinking that there was another verse to this lullabye, that didn’t stay in my mind when I sang it to Robyn, but it is appropriate still for all those beach folk who have traveled on. Worth adding in:

    Rock me to sleep in a cradle of dreams.
    Sing me a lullaby of leaves
    Tuck a cloud up under my chin
    Lord blow the moon out please
