Mowing the North Country Trail with an old lawnmower of my dad’s. Six miles of this.

Aftermath of a much needed rain storm complete with thunder, a seiche, and I think I heard the marine warning siren go off in Brimley. Hopefully this will help with the air quality.

Dinner at Pickles courtesy of Le Marquis, where they had totally run out of fish. Reason? The fishermen, who are out *every* day, did not go out during the smokiest days. I had my heart set on the one-piece whitefish basket but was happy to settle for a BLT instead. More thunderstorms are rolling through. Hope that settles the smoke down a bit although it has been better the last couple days.

P.S. With the thunderstorms rolling through this evening, it’s dark in the moomincabin and it would’ve been a great night to light candles. Getting too late now. Oh well.
