This may be my last trip to the moominbeach for the year. We leave as early as possible tomorrow. I am 95% packed. I don’t have a whole bunch of food to pack this time. Coffee beans and Zingerman’s baguettes and bourbon. The plan is to visit FlaMan for an hour or so, then meet up with The UU and The Beautiful Gay for lunch. And then. With luck we will stay at the beach for a couple weeks. With luck, Little Cat Z will get to spend a week or thereabouts up there, maybe with a camping trip somewhere in the middle. They are adults and can do what they want, including take breaks from us nutso “elderly” parental units.

One thing I don’t have to do much of is clean up after dinner tonight because we didn’t eat here. After drinks with Le Marquis and The Grand Poobah in the back yard, we met up with Little Cat Z and friend for dinner at Sessions. We were home in time to watch the rest of Andy Griffith, which we won’t see for a couple weeks. I will miss the crickets. We don’t have them at the moominbeach.
