Three steps forward, five steps back?

I am all set to go out to the grokkery store this morning but, wait! I cannot *print* my blasted list (yes, it’s in a spreadsheet) because the printer is temporarily out of commission because one of the things on my blasted list is BLACK INK!

Our printer’s in a snit b/c of the new puter. Sometimes you have to coax it to print by copying something first, then it remembers how to print too.

I used to have a grokkery list on my ‘puter, but for some reason gave up on it. It actually was a checklist of my more-common purchases. Nowadays, my grokkery list is likely to just be jotted on a smallish sticky-note just before I go to the store!!

Hey, it’s just me and the Dogz these days!!! Plus I now work in the same city I live in, so it is no big deal to stop at Colony on the way home to pick up an item I need!!!

I go back and forth on how my grokkery list and shopping are organized. Right now, I’m evolving a “big” run to the Jackson Rd. Meijer every Saturday I’m home. As early as possible. I am evolving a master list for that trip. Other than that it’s quick dashes to Plum. On foot, if possible. Actually with the construction here, foot is usually *more* possible than not. Sometimes other stores, depending on what I need. But things like toilet paper are cheaper at Meijer (I think) and easier to schlep in a car.

    Pooh, what new ‘puter?

List? We don’t need no stinkin list!

Hey, how come it was $100 for just 2 bags?

How did you know it was $100 for only two bags? Actually, it was $113 and there were three bags. Nice, plastic, re-usable bags, I might add!

It “don’t take long” to hit $100 nor is it a surprise it is contained in only 2 bags anymore…. *sigh*
