Groundhog Day chup chup chup chup grok grawwwk grawwwk

So you think it is Groundhog Day? I am here to tell you that it is not! How do I know? Because I have been living in Groundhog Day for weeeeeks now. Today? Even though I felt like I was still living in Groundhog Day, there is a light at the end of the tunnel for me. Of sorts. Things are not perfect here in the Great White North but it sounds as if life is going to go on for the time being. If it doesn’t, we are okay with that. Until we know which way it will go, I am going to return to the Planet Ann Arbor and my beloved Landfill and my loverly dog-poopy cube this weekend. Fingers crossed.

I wish I had a decent picture of the raven who was walking around the Glen’s parking lot this morning. Yes, a raven. I was thinking crow at first but the dern thing was too big to be a crow. It was standing there sort of going “chup… chup… chup” with its beak/jaw/whatever. Crow or raven? I was trying to get an iPhone photoooo and I got just a wee bit too close so he flew about 10 feet away. And landed again. And this time, he made just the slightest grokking noise. I would know that noise anywhere. I hear it in the woods at the moomincabin all the time. Er, and from a certain rather raucous amphibian.

I didn’t get a decent photoooo. You’ll have to be content with this beauteous northern woods photooo taken near the I-500 Snowmobile race track yesterday. Dogmomster is here with me tonight and we are both exhausted.

Good night,
KW

Life is always up in the air, but you’ve been definitely dealing with more than your share. Hope that it settles down and you can get back to the loverly routine. 🙂
