I thought that I would be happy when all of the 2012 election polls and other crap would be done with. Alas. I am not happy that the whole news stream has switched over to the stoopid Petraeus / Broadwell / whatever affair…

Kee-reist! Who in the heck are these people and why under the sun do we have them anywhere near the government? Sigh. I won’t tell you my opinion about the 20,000 emails. Fer kee-reist, if you have enough time to fiddly-diddle around writing 20,000 email messages to some damn bimbo, you are probably not doing your damn job.

You guys, when Big Bugs take over the earth, we need leaders who are not following their you-know-what. I will personally be out in my back yard deploying my rocket launcher. I won’t be hanging out with any of the folks that were in the news today. They will probably already be dead. 20,000 email messages? Who are these people. Do they have children? What are their children going to grow up to be? huh? …?

20K emails?? I didn’t hear that part. They must not have been doing much of anything except writing them. Leaders who follow their you-know-what…loved that line. In spite of the fact that women are considered to be more emotional, at least we don’t have that you-know-what to follow.

I detect some man bashing. From what I’ve read, these women chased the men down.

In this case, however I worded my blahg, I do think that the women were equally to blame. That third woman seems particularly odious to me but then I don’t know her. I have mixed feelings about whether or not this whole thing was a matter of national security or just an attack on a few high-profile people who made some stupid mistakes. I think I will step away from the news today 😉

heard a note yesterday that it wasn’t actually 20k emails, more like 200 – 300 over 18 months or something. The number got inflated (ya think?) with the files being forwarded, etc during the investigation.

A crazy thought went through my mind. How much are the taxpayers paying these people to sit on their cans send emails? Who is footing the bill for their connection to the web? Why can they get paid to sleep on the job? The affair doesn’t bother me as much as the fact that we have all been paying these useless scum bags (who claim they are serving our country) while sitting on their butts emailing their lovers and the men and women who are risking their lives are losing their homes.
