The Metropark system is pretty neat – too bad none of them are close to GB! In my case, they’d also have to be “dog friendly” (with leashes and requiring the courtesy of cleaning up after your own beast, of course).
Have a nice neighborhood to walk in here, and a decent pet supplies store that allows dogs to come in….but the relative lack of easy-access walking/hiking variety wears a bit thin after – what – 24 years….
Be nice if there were a way to do some light shopping *while* walking dogs. Can’t even get a S-bux coffee!!!
This one is dog friendly except for one little nature trail that is a specifically protected bird area that says no pets. The rest of the place is okay, I presume as long as you bag it. It is a *large* park.
Can you walk-thru the Starbucks drive-thru (does it have one?)?

hiking at Lake Erie Metropark. Didn’t actually go to the island. Didn’t take boats down there.
