Feeling like a human being again
I felt like a human being this morning. I woke up and took a shower at the Hotel Ojibway in Sault Ste. Siberia. I walked over to Brady Park and got back just in time to meet the GG in the lobby for breakfast. Text messaging helped with that.
Snowshoed the North Country Trail with the usual group today. It was hard slogging a lot of the time but I had a great time and felt fantastic at the end of it. It was warm in the Great White North (30s) today and my boots and socks and feet got totally soaked. I survived only because it was warm and I had wool socks on.
We left and drove over through Fibre to Rudyard and then south to Houghton Lake. We took a p-break at the Brook Trout trailhead. Immediately after I did my quick little job, a vee-hickle came down the road. He had to stop because we were in the middle of the road. We KNEW him!!! Did he see me p? I don’t think so. I was already mucking about shoveling cosmic debris around in the back of the Frog Hopper by that time.
Anyway, we got to Houghton Lake today and I took a shower and my feet are now dry and clean and we had bar food at the Northshore with The Lord and Lady of Linden and I feel like a human being again.
Good night,
