Not sure if I have any words today but I do have pictures!
Ready, set, go! One set of loverly harvest gold cabinets already out.
Refrigerator moved and more of the loverly harvest gold cabinets out. And some tomato (or whatever that color is) ones too.
I’m gonna miss Gertrude (down there at the end of the room) for the duration. She will match the new chitchen beautifully.
Now we’re getting serious — they’re starting on those damn soffits! At this point, I drove over to my office for the rest of my workday.
Came home to this bee-yoo-tifful sight. A good day’s work for the carpentry crew.
A view from the other end of the room.
Heading over to the neighborhood pub for dinner. G’night. KW.
P.S. Oh, okay, of course I had words. Just not the diarrhea of the keyboard that you usually experience if you make it all the way through a typical ababsurdo blahg post.

Gonna miss that kitchen, but I’m also glad my mama gets to have one she’s picking out for herself (after about a million years of catering to picky eaters and cleaning up late night cooking messes, both of which were were caused by people such as myself).

The picky eaters turned into much more adventurous eaters than their baggy old moom. And I really didn’t [usually] mind cleaning up late night kitchen messes. I’m kind of wired to wash dishes. I just channel Bolette. Well, there was that one multicultural feast fiasco with the smelly Thai food that nobody wanted to tote down to Commie High in their vee-hickles the next day. But that’d be a whole blahg entry in and of itself. I miss those good old days. <3

That Thai thing… heh heh. I don’t know about more adventurous, I just think the world was built to expose us to a lot more variety than it was when you were young by the time we weren’t picky any more.

You eat just about any weird thing we bring around…

That was very quick! I’m hoping that it starts shaping up soon. Keep us apprised of the progress via photos, OK?

So exciting! Thanks for the pictures. Filing memories of the ol’ chichen!
