I wasn’t really sure I wanted to go out in the Motor Bote this morning but this is the first morning that the lake was calm enough for us to take our little Motor Bote out, all the way out into the shipping channel. Here’s a photo of us just starting out from the Moominbeach.

We crossed the shipping channel to get a pic of this red buoy.

At that point, we were across the channel but the Blough was still well downstream. We could just barely see it through the morning’s haze. We crossed the channel back to our side, (American side) before the Blough went up and stayed outside the channel as the Blough made its passage.

After that, we went to the Pickle Finger and then home.
