First faaaaar (indoor) of the season

It is snowing in Sault Ste. Siberia (or was, the last time I looked). It is not snowing here on The Planet Ann Arbor although it is now cold enough for snow. I have dredged out my mini-balaclava and new smartwool jacket for tomorrow morning.

At any rate, I came home from work to find that the GG had built the first faaaar of the season. Thanks, I needed that today. I don’t have much else to say.

    I’ve had my fake fire on several times already. Part of the issue is that I am allowing my furnace programming to pretend I’m at work during certain hours of the day. On cold days, the house temp drops to 60. I can override it, but don’t want a huge power bill. 🙂 November is snow time. Alison is hoping for some because she bought a season pass to one of our local ski resorts. As far as I’m concerned, it can stay in the mountains!
