Junk junket

And away we go! To the dump to the dump to the dump dump dump. Mooon Yooonit and the Trash Trailer exiting the moomingarage onto our one way two-track Cabin Road. But not to the Green Bag dump because we had *serious* crapola to get rid of today. Stuff that wouldn’t fit into a Green Bag.

It turned out we didn’t get to the actual dump because the Sault Ste. Siberia Habitat for Humanity took ALL our crapola. They even took the “broken” dog cage. I’ve been calling it “broken” and it is in a way but it’s because a tree fell on it. It’s a chain link thingy and we have it for very complicated reasons involving an ex in-law whose dogs did not get along with a neighbor cousin’s dog (and committed a few other unblahggable offenses, not involving poop). In an attempt to placate things, The Commander bought this dog cage but the in-law’s dogs (not ex in-law at the time) barked like crazy whenever they got locked up. I loved those dogs and didn’t blame them for human bad behavior. I thought the dog cage was a bad idea from the getgo.

The in-law dogs stopped coming here (and later got old and died) and the dog cage has sat empty for hmmm, how many years? Last year or the year before a tree fell on it, crushing one side. Habitat wanted it anyway. We thought it might be sold as scrap metal but a prospective buyer was eyeballing it almost before we had it unloaded. Not necessarily for use as a dog cage. Apparently chain link is “valuable” on its own. Who knew? I’m just glad to get the doggamn dog cage out of the moominforest.

We didn’t leave Habitat unscathed. The GG spied a motor bote gas can and since we have a broken one here, he bought it.

The next door (Old Cabin) cousins are also flinging this summer. (And they don’t have dog cages to fling.) Maybe we’ll have to bomb them tonight after dinner and the GG’s North Country Trail zoom meeting.

That sounds like a very productive day! I am so sick of looking at some of the stuff in my garage and upstairs in the bedrooms. (not mine so much)
