I don’t have much to say tonight. I probably shoulda gone to the fish market with the GG but he was also doing some trail work and helping a hiker with logistics and I took a pass. I made a Meijer dash and put together some lamb stew. The GG told me it was really good. I have made it a bazillion times and he says that every time I make it. Why? Because it is! It is a recipe from my Sunset Cooking for Two cookbook and guess what? For some random reason I googled it a while back and it actually showed up. I mean the exact recipe. Somebody posted a picture of the recipe in the book, which has probably been out of print forever but I own it.

King’s Fish Market is an emporium of great lakes fish and many other items and also serves as a museum for old bote motors and tools and things. The GG was tasked with buying whitefish filets today and he came through on that.

We finished off the day with a porterized happy hour on the moomindeck. Actually it was more like 2-1/2 hours and I am totally out of words and ready to crash for the night. Looking forward to Cygnus X-1’s arrival tomorrow. May Mercury stay OUT of retrograde for once.
