The Twins of Terror took off for a Death March over at the south branch of the Au Sable River. I had done that trip more than a few times. Today I couldn’t. I opted to take my regular walk around Long Point this morning and hang out at the Group Home for the day. I am not sure exactly what’s in my head these days but I am taking things one step at a time. That’s what I did today.

So, toast and a bit o’ bacon cadged from none other than my b-i-l Wok with Jim. And the then a trip to the “crap show” with The Lady of Linden. Where we bought some little donuts but not much of anything else. After a stop at the Best Choice, we bought some bratwurst to grill and then we headed back to the group home. A bit of leftover grilled chicken and some salad for lunch…

And then I spent hours sitting out by the lake reading Cryptonomicon. It has been a long time since I have been able to actually sit around and read a book. It may be a long time until I can find time to do that again.
