Lots of rope and many many anchors

boatrulesI’m not superstitious enough to think that Grandpa Garth is watching us from wherever this weekend. If he is, I hope he is celebrating the Work Weekend we are engaged in here! Man oh man, we have *all* been working on various prodjects. Some folks put more dock sections in. Others organized rope, worked on de-hoarding the shed, and re-webbed lawn chairs.

Yer fav-o-rite blahhger? Yeesh. I went off on a ridiculous obsessive compulsive rampage in the Group Home Kitchen and removed everything from several cupboards, putting it all back in a more organized (???) fashion. I did throw out some long-expired boxes of food from the pantry. I hope that was okay and I’m more than willing to replace — in spades — anything that I may have thrown out that someone wanted. I have spent so much time sorting through “stuff” in the last year or so that I don’t seem to be able to stop. Please forgive me… I know that whatever order I may have imposed today will be temporary and that entropy will occur (and I will contribute to that entropy) and whoever comes up here next will grump and growl about my efforts and eventually somebody else will go OCD and dredge out some cupboards. And life will go on and on…

About the only traditional Houghton Lake Work Weekend chore that we didn’t do today was flinging rocks up onto the shore. Even though I could use a few more of those old rocks down in my yard on The Planet Ann Arbor.

Good night,
KW

I need to get into one of those moods myself. A lot trickier when most of the stuff belonged to my husband and I’m not quite sure who wants to keep what. 🙁

Strange flanking sea horses on boat etiquette cushion. Love the white accents…. Ah, the sailing life….
