Two [K]night Dog
If I had managed to have a Come To Jeebus moment with my time-off calendar more toward the beginning of last week, I might well be up in Tahq camping in the Lyme Lounge right now. For long boring complicated reasons, I did not know how much paid time off I had left. Our Building Mom’s retirement earlier in the summer left me totally in limbo. I like to leave a wee bit of time for the xmas season but not tooooo much since other family members are usually working then and the weather often sucks in one way or another and so I get kinda bored hanging around picking away at The Landfill Flinging Prodject. Also, my fellow BAs usually take [well deserved] time off around then and we kinda sorta need one BA to be haaaaaanging around on the off chance that a developer or QA person actually has a question for the BA “team” or whatever you want to call us cats. Meeeeooooow.
As it turned out, The Queen Bee was somehow able to come up with a breakdown of vacay/personal/sick hours off. It was more than I expected, which is not the usual result. Anyway, I am not at Tahq [alas] but The Planet Ann Arbor will be beautiful this weekend and as long as I am here, I am going to make the most of it. I managed to get myself well Porterized over at Knight’s for dinner tonight, as you might be able to see. So glad I horned in on our friends’ dinner plans [snort]. I have sat just about everywhere at Knight’s and I love all the seats, including our booth tonight. The photooo looks up at some of our fave seats on the balcony where you can look down over the rail at the folks coming in and if it is summer… That’s as far as I will go with that except to say that Froggy got a really good photo of someone’s eyeballs one time [snort].
Farmer’s market tomorrow morning early with my Mouse and we’ll see what transpires beyond that. For fun, here’s a flip side of Two [K]night Dog (it may start with an ad).
Love y’all, KW!
P.S. There was just BIG TIME ice clinking going on around here. What the hell gives, you guys?

I am spoiled with days off, but I don’t get paid for them. I’m still thankful to have lots of time to hang out, read and relax. 🙂
