Louie-Louiiii texted the tall boss to ask that question. The girls? There’s GoGrannyGo and Nik (who is a youngster but has grandchildren by marriage). L-L had to *remind* me and Cube Nayber that we now work for the tall boss and because our chromosomes include a double x, weeeee were included in “the girls” and could therefore work from home tomorrow. Like the tall boss plans to. Plus she decreed (in the Benevolent Despot’s absence) that work would end at three tomorrow for the holiday weekend. L-L? He is taking tomorrow off. He still has four weeks of vacay left this year. I am envious in a way but I have had some good times at the moomincabin this summer, despite various bits of not-very-pleasant “stuff” that had to be dealt with in between the good times.

Actually, I am not working from home tomorrow. I am not working at all tomorrow. I am heading back up to the yooperland for one last fling (with the tall boss’s blessing). At least it’ll be a last fling at the moomincabin. We’ll be back up later on but will be based in the Lyme Lounge over at Tahquamenon. Hopefully this year I will be able to meet the GG *at* Tahq and not, ahem, at War Memorial, like I had to do last year. Two vee-hickles in Sault Ste. Siberia and one driver. Okaaaayyyyy.

So we just got back from Knight’s. We had a reservation but things got a bit screwed up. It was okay for a while. We got a seat at the bar (which is part of the experience) but then we encountered a half-porterization and we got to yakking and Knight’s sorta fergot us and we had to remind them that we love their ‘hattans but we were there to EAT. It was okay and they oopsed and we did get food and now we are home chilling out poised at the top of a five-day weekend. It’ll be fun but it’ll end all too soon and I’ll be back butt-in-seat next Wednesday.
