We were On It at Houghton Lake yesterday. The Twinz of Terror and I took a road trip around the lake to pick up groceries and a lawnmower. I forced myself to venture into Woldemort to pick up a can of pineapple rings because, well because The Beautiful Gay’s pineapple upside down cake. Most of the rest of the groceries were obtained at Best Choice. After 4-5 stops, the Twinz finally found a lawn mower (but not a log splitter). We won’t talk about my dad’s cantankerous old lawn mower. The one that the UU wants to put out by the road but the GG wants to keep, even though, since I technically *own* the dern thing, I have decreed that it be put it out by the road. And the squabbles go on… doo dah doo dah doo

After a not very warm fuzzy summer, yesterday was a bonus summer day. We took the Pontoon Bote for one more ride to the Tiki Bar before pulling it outta the water for the season. Here are the UU and TBG sitting at the front of the boat basking in the sun. At this particular moment, we had NO CAP’N! The UU had tried to hand the wheel to the Sea Hag but she was busy with the xword! Where is Cap’n *Queen* Leila when you need her? 💜

Then Cap’n Liz took over the helm.

You may not be able to tell who these Uggs belong to but we all know that they are The Beautiful Gay’s.

I posted this photo on facebook and TBG’s sister said something like, “That has to be my sister!” Yes yes yes 💜 Note that this pic was cropped from a full photo of TBG. I chose to show a part of the “essence” of TBG rather than a clearly identifiable photo of her face that she may or may not like. The pic of Cap’n Liz is similar but different but part of her essence is Woman of Action, which I think this pic shows (nobody is driving the bote so I’ll take over). That is my usual modus operandi, at least in recent years, although people like the GG may sometimes find themselves photographed in marginally unflattering ways. For better or for worse. In any case, if I ever post a photo of *you* that you do not like or that I have not asked for permission to post, please let me know and I will replace it with something more appropriate or remove it.

And just like that, here we are back on The Planet Ann Arbor again. Someone has turned on the furnace even though it is warm enough that moe-skee-toes are out. And the squabbles go on… doo dah doo dah doo.
