Rocket [Wo]Man (and Rocket Man) 🚀🚀🚀
Last winter This morning, Anne Arbour. (46 degrees F.)
Asheville? Or Nashville? Actually straight on to Knoxville and beyond. BTW, there exists a highway sign that does direct drivers to Asheville or Nashville. It *think* it comes along *after* you turn off toward Asheville, which we did not do today. I think it is one of the coolest freeway signs I have ever seen but I did not get a picture of it eight years ago when I saw it and have not been to Asheville since, alas to both things. This one will have to do for now.
I wish I could tell you where I was [exactly] right now. I know the city is Chattanoooooooogah. The GG directed me OFF the freeway and through the most circuitous route you could ever imagine, past the entrance to Ruby Falls and the whole works. So I do not know where I am but there was this beauteous tunnel somewhere along the way and a roadhouse is right next door (and up a huuuuuge hill) so after this looooonnnnnng day, I think that is where we will end up obtaining vittles tonight as much fun as downtown Chattanooooogah is.
P.S. The establishment we are lodging at seems pretty darn good so far and it does accept pets, which doesn’t apply to us tonight but may in the not-too-distant future. (And no, we are not going to be getting a pet.)
Oh yeah. 91 degrees F and I arrived still wearing the tights I put on this morning! Jeebus!

91? Yikes. That’s not my kind of temp. I do enjoy road trips though!
