Meaning I bought some beer yesterday. I don’t really drink a lot of beer any more. Sometimes on the beach but a little goes a long way. But we were having young guests yesterday who will drink beer so I needed to replenish our dwindling supply. Like I think there was ONE can of beer. If you don’t count the four-pack of 16-ouncers that we wanted to palm off on some those young folks. Both me and the GG have accidentally bought these 16-ouncers this year.

So I bought a 12-pack of utility beer. Utility beer used to be stuff like Pabst or Miller Lite or I can’t even remember. (Hamm’s beer, refreshing Hamm’s beer🎶) These days utility beer is Bell’s Two-Hearted. Bell’s is a Michigan company (Kalamazoo born, I think) and (I think) the [retired?] owner is a big North Country Trail Supporter. We own a North Country Trail lamp made out of a Two-Hearted keg at any rate.

The Beach Urchins both attended Kalamazoo College. They couldda prob’ly gone to UMich but I think they didn’t want to stay In Town and/or go to a huge school. They differed from me in that but that is a whole ‘nother story and I totally supported their choice. kzoo was a wonderful college for them and I loved that they were NOT in town but an easy (usually) 100 mile drive away.

I also bought a six-pack of the beer in the pic. It seems to be a recent fave. I was glad I took a pic because when I got to the Plum, I was looking at a six-pack of beer with similar graphics but it wasn’t quiiiite the same but I also couldn’t quiiiite remember. So I opened my phone photos and quickly found the correct beer.
